Staff are incredible!!

Liked: Absolutely amazing staff 10/10! The manager and bartender went above and beyond our expectations. We enjoyed the serenity of the location, glorious gardens to explore and in close proximity to Olinda falls/ multiple rainforest walks.
Disliked: The rooms are basic, but it suited our needs. I do however agree with others reviews ( if a couple is adjacent to your room you can hear everything, the walls have no soundproofing).

Liked: Location on the mountain is sublime, and the beautiful gardens and great swimming pool are amazing for this affordable price. Comfy bed and good air con.
Disliked: Tiny en-suite was a bit challenging. No evening food and drink options - maybe someone was suddenly ill or something, as we had been told there would be. Largely unstaffed, which felt odd, but we kind of enjoyed the splendid isolation.

Disliked: The rooms we paid but didn’t stay went home as the rooms were so small. And the joint was so hot. Cooling not working.

Walking trip

Liked: Great location for my trip as a hiker. Some great areas to explore
Disliked: The room needs a mini fridge. When I got back from a 3 hour hike it would have been great to have an icy cold drink.

I didnt dislike my stay...

Liked: It was very quiet.
Disliked: Its a sad place that would have been in its prime twenty years ago. It badly needs a renovation and care. Difficult place to get to.
