Hyatt Mar Vista and Palmoro

Liked: The Mar Vista complex of properties is conveniently located near the beach and Milpas Street, allowing easy access to shops, restaurants, and the freeway. Upon arrival, we enjoyed their beautiful gym and complimentary cocktails. Our hotel looked over the nearby park and was quiet, save for the coastal train going by occasionally.
Disliked: The properties are highly-priced, so I have a hard time answering the question of value.

Hope to come again, but...

Liked: The beds and blankets were comfortable. It was also very nice to have robes as an option. Every staff member we interacted with was very helpful and seemed to do their best. I wish we had time to utilize the gym, pool and bikes.
Disliked: We stayed in a room that had 2 queen beds. Our room was SO small though! It felt very claustrophobic for 3 people, I can't imagine being in there with 4 people. It was difficult to move around the room once we had our luggage opened and spread out.

Disliked: There was no place to hang a towel in the bathroom, and no luggage rack.

Disliked: Noisy air conditioner, several unexpected miscellaneous charges, far from main building, isolated.

Historical vibe, Great location

Liked: The location was walkable to the beach and restaurants. The hotel room was simple, but nicely decorated and comfortable.
Disliked: Parking was not included and had a fee. Very disappointing. Good thing there outside parking available.
