Excellent room and restaurant and...

Liked: Staff were excellent, room very nice and spacious and clean. Restaurant and bar also very good and convenient. Room was very good value
Disliked: Everything was good

We had a great stay.

Liked: Our room was spotlessly clean. There was hot chocolate and caramel wafers and mugs .Food was very tasty and very large portions. Lots of different cooked breakfasts to try- we had buttery with haggis, poached eggs and hollandaise sauce, stack of pancakes with bacon and maple syrup, kedgeree and wrap with rice and vegetables, all delicious.Bus stop into Aberdeen very close to the hotel meant we could leave the car at the hotel.Bed was very comfortable and we slept well.All the staff we met were very friendly and approachable.
Disliked: Nothing to complain about.

Superb

Accommodating and staff lovely but...

Liked: Room was small but comfortable.
Disliked: The bar area where we ate in the evening because we had a dog was really noisy with TV football and unfortunately /im sorry to say the food was of very poor quality on the Sunday evening. Sunday roast and veggie haggis both served swimming in gravy as if intended to disguise some reheating of dried out food - really unappealing. Breakfast the followed morning was so much better.

Nice hotel, nice staff, but...

Liked: Staff were friendly and attentive. Room was kept clean and bed made every day.
Disliked: Would have liked a residents seating area, other than the bar. All free space used as function rooms, which generated noise after our bedtime.

Disliked: room 19, door to kettle and stuff etc opens wrong way making hard to get to everything

Hotel is looking a little...

Liked: Nice hotel with parking. Good restaurant and bar
Disliked: Hotel is starting to look a little tired. Carpets need cleaned as badly stained and walls would benefit from a coat of paint. Couldn’t close the blind in room 1 as there is no cord to operate the blind
