Liked: Having been before we knew what to expect

Boring. Venue so basic. However...

Liked: The lift worked. The dinner staff were most welcoming and the wine was served correctly.
Disliked: Basic breakfast. Poached eggs were precooked then warmed through to serve. Fish option was a very small portion.The breakfast hostess was the most unwelcoming of all the staff, very sour faced.The evening dinner was Christmas fare every night including table decorations.

Exceptional

Liked: As soon as we walked in friendly staff warm hotel bedrooms clean lovely breakfast will be back again next Christmas excellent standards

Liked: We enjoyed our stay.we have stayed at the palm court many times.its a lovly hotel.very nice and friendly staff .
Disliked: Our room no 24 wasn't very warm considering the time of year

Liked: Very central for the town and restaurants. Hotel looked very pretty with the christmas lights and trees inside and out
Disliked: Room 23 was very clean, comfy bed , but the radiators were only luke warm, bathroom floor cold could do with an update and ceiling on bedroom was split properly due to a leak.

Two night stay.

Liked: location. great staff. car park.
Disliked: It was very windy during our visit and the sash windows which are very worn were rattling all night. No heating or heated towel rail in bathroom. It was freezing in there.
