Great location. Decent value.

Liked: I liked the location and the amenities at the property. The staff was mostly very friendly and accommodating.
Disliked: We were promised a view we did not get. There was no hot water for 2 days. We were offered no apology or discount and only after calling were told it was a hotel wide situation. The room was worn and definitely could use some sprucing up.

Liked: Location was amazing. The resort gave an old tradition feel. The service was friendly and prompt. Restaurant was great with manu options. Footsteps to the beach.

Liked: Friendly staff, able to walk to restaurants, right on beach. Very clean.
Disliked: A little outdated, not very upbeat atmosphere at pool.

Not worth the savings –...

Liked: Place is affordable and spacious. Location is great, if there is no hurricane on its way.
Disliked: I chose this hotel because it was affordable and the rooms are spacious, but unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The room was not clean (hairs in the shower) and the entire hotel felt a bit old-fashioned, which already set the wrong tone.What really made me uncomfortable was how the hotel handled a situation during a hurricane/storm. As a woman traveling alone, I did not feel safe staying there, and I ended up checking out early. Despite this, the hotel refused to offer any flexibility or accommodation for the unused nights. While other hotels like Hilton and Marriott in the same area are far more understanding and flexible in such situations, this one seemed more concerned about holding onto a prepaid booking than considering guest safety.I would not recommend staying here – the slightly lower price isn’t worth the lack of cleanliness, outdated rooms, and poor customer service. Next time, I’ll definitely choose a hotel that makes safety and guest comfort a priority.
