Liked: The front desk service was excellent. They allowed us to check in early, and the lady who helped us was very kind and gave us great advice for our itinerary. The space is beautiful; the room is gorgeous, and the pool is heated, which was a big plus. The facilities overall are charming, and small details like providing robes for use in the room make the stay feel more special. The location is also ideal, as it’s close to places like In-N-Out and IHOP, making breakfast and dinner convenient without going far. Although parking has an additional cost, it’s very convenient that it’s in the building, and the car delivery service was always quick and efficient.
Disliked: However, we encountered some issues. The main problem is structural: you can hear everything from the neighboring rooms and the ones above, from footsteps and luggage to, unfortunately, other guests snoring. This made it very hard to get a good night’s sleep, as we dealt with this noise every night. Additionally, the music from the pool or hotel area starts at 7 am and is way too loud, which also disrupts rest. Another issue is the lack of sufficiently large trash bins in the rooms, making it inconvenient as trash piles up quickly. Lastly, there was no shampoo in the room—only two body washes and one conditioner. We believe this was a mistake, but it still forced us to improvise and use the body wash on our hair.

A fairly nice hotel but...

Liked: The bed was super comfy with a relatively soft mattress, great pillows and lovely linens. The balcony was nice although the weather wasn't so great the week that I spent in LA. The staff overall was pretty friendly and the location very central to all the friends that I visited in town. The hotel was overall very quiet this time of the year.
Disliked: The room layout was a bit odd and didn't provide for a place to sit at my laptop. The little sofa could probably be replaced by a tiny table with two chairs that would provide a better function. The shower had only one volume and that was pretty strong, I rather have it adjustable for quick and partial rinses. Aside from the hotel's pretty high taxes there is also a $30 a day "destination tax" that I had to pay upon departure. This made the hotel less of a bargain ... I found it odd that they don't provide a toilet brush considering that they only make up the room every other day.
