Disappointed experience

Liked: Room’s big and lots of space to move around.
Disliked: We found human nails underneath our pillows in one of the bed which caused us feeling disgusted and the idea that they only just made the bed (using the old bed linens used by the previous guests) instead of changing the whole bed linens when the previous guest(s) checked out. Even though the hotel staff were quickly came and changed all the bed linens, however, the lack of taking responsibility for this incident has surprised us. The incident was not escalated to staff who can pass on this to higher level for review, no one cared to ask how are we feeling after this incident but actually no one knows this has happened. I went to reception on check out to provide the feedback and were told they don’t have a manager onsite to deal with the incident. It is a nice hotel but had fallen behind it’s five star rating for sure in areas of cleaning, hygiene, customer service support etc and for sure not worth for the value we have paid for the stay.

Great location and pool but...

Liked: Great pool area and drinks / food from the bar beside the pool. Films available in Room. Excellent concierge with restaurant recommendations for dining nearby. Great breakfast.
Disliked: The rooms were in need of renovation and freshening up - lost the versace wow factor.
