NOT A TYPICAL HOTEL

Liked: Clean room for a 1 night stay. Price was also good.
Disliked: NOT A HOTEL - it's a stay in 1 of 2 homes! It is located in the "old" part of Paducah near the Riverfront. There is a street with a few shops and restaurants, but the big stores and places to eat are located a few miles away

big disappointment

Disliked: We were deeply disappointed with our stay at this hotel. First, we were shocked to be led to a building next door after checking in, as the photos and description on the website heavily feature the main building’s fancy common area. This gave us a strong sense of "being fooled." To the least, the hotel should clearly state on the website which rooms are in the main building and which are not, and charge them different prices. Second, upon arriving at our room, we found it was not ready, despite our scheduled check-in time. The staff apologized sincerely, but we had to wait 15 minutes in an unimpressive area while they prepared the room—a frustrating start to our stay. Third, the room’s lock was faulty, which added to our unease.Lastly, the soundproofing was terrible. We could hear everything from the room next door, and unfortunately, our neighbors were loud and disruptive. They appeared to host a party and I suspect there was proper control of who could enter the building. Their noises and drunken behaviors woke me up and kept me awake from 4:30 AM to 5:30 AM! This ruined our night’s sleep and left us feeling unsafe. Overall, the experience did not meet our expectations, one of the worst hotel experiences in many years. We hope the hotel takes these issues seriously to improve its guest experience.

Liked: The price and the location was perfect. Very nice staff ready to help us. We arrived very late and they were able to help us with everything, so we really appreciated the hospitality.
Disliked: Nothing

Exceptional

Liked: We arrived late and the guy greeted us very friendly. He claimed that when we booked the room it wasn't the one we thought it was. He was able to work all that out for us. Very friendly. Very cool experience. Did have to clean the tub but other than that it was great
