Favorite hotel in Bakersfield, not...

Liked: I love this hotel. Have stayed there before.
Disliked: I would’ve liked to have been told that there was going to be a prom and there would be tons of young people roaming the property. It was very loud and I went there to relax. Also, I would’ve liked to have been told that the espresso machine is broken and all they could offer in their coffee shop, was plain black coffee.

Great hotel to get just...

Liked: It was an easy walk to the Fox Theater.
Disliked: Chicken Nachos were cold, dry and flavorless.

We won’t stay there again.

Liked: The valet team was great. The location was ideal to our venue (the Fox Theater) but not much around the hotel in terms of dining or shopping.
Disliked: 1. I pre-ordered a bottle of Chardonnay for our room. It didn’t get delivered. I called the front desk who told me it’s not listed on their site (booked through the hotels ‘pre-check in’, not through Booking.com). Hotel says ‘we don’t show it but I can send up a bottle and charge it to you). Why am I the only one who can see the $36 charge on my folio? The $36 is on my bill and paid, I never did get my bottle of wine.2. There was no soap or shampoo at all in the room. We have our own, but seriously, no toiletries in the room?
