Liked: Louise went out of her way to provide a takeaway breakfast for our hike up Snowdon. Such a personal touch with everything. Thank you

Comfortable, especially for one person.

Liked: The location was close to Llanwrst town, Trefriw and Betys-y-Coed, plus easy access to all other areas I wanted to visit. It has parking on site. It is a ground floor accommodation, which is great for heavy suitcases. The common area was light filled, comfy and very pleasant for breakfast. The breakfast was extraordinary! Eggs the way you request, hash browns, sausages, tomato, and even beans. Tea. Coffee. Toast. Filling! My room was cozy. It had good closet space, a coffee/tea station, two nightstands and a desk. The view was onto planting at the back garden. The bathroom had a shower only, but was a good size and no problem for a larger person to fit in. The window sill was deep, allowing all the bits and bobs for grooming to have a place to be stored. I appreciated the responsiveness of the hostess, especially with extra toilet tissue when my stomach experienced distress. I found an extra quilt in the room which helped on the chillier nights. The hostess was cheerful, friendly, accommodating and a lovely person.
Disliked: The standard depth desk in the cozy room took up a bit too much room. I had to squeeze between the desk and the bed to access the window. Lighting outside the house to access the rear door, where the guest area is located, had almost inadequate lighting, especially on a dark autumn night. I used my phone flashlight until the light sensors kicked in and the lights came on. It always reminds me to carry a small flashlight (torch) with me when traveling. The signage at the entrance was a bit difficult to spot, but the GPS took me to the drive entry.

Delightful, accommodating host. Comfortable and...

Liked: Louise was extremely accommodating, friendly and personable, especially with my request for lactose-free milk, which I had not pre-warned her about. She had some in stock, and popped it in the breakfast room fridge for me to use if I wanted a cuppa. Louise was also extremely helpful with her advice about the local area, and took time to enjoy a chat with us after breakfast in the morning. We can see how guests become friends and return to the property in future; we will be sure to stay with Louise again when we visit the area again. The views from the garden are delightful! Plus, there were neighbouring donkeys, which was the cherry on top.
