Disappointing

Disliked: We called to say we’d be arriving around 11:00 pm. We were told they close the office at 9:00 pm so they’d leave our keys in a lock box on the office door. We asked about parking and were told they don’t have parking for Booking.com guests and we’d need to park on the street. We had booked an ocean view room. The window facing the ocean did not open and was in a tight corner with space enough for one person to stand. The window shades were broken and couldn’t be lifted. Room was cramped with two beds and barely enough room between the bed and the bathroom door. The bathroom door was a sliding door that didn’t fully close. We returned to our car at 9:00 am the next morning to find a parking citation because we were parked on the street during street sweeping hours. This was our first and our last stay at Pacific View Inn.

Liked: It was right by the beach! Clean facilities and friendly staff.
Disliked: There was a bit of a beach smell when you first walk into the room otherwise it was okay.

Disliked: Windows were small, no designated parking unless you are willing to pay $30/night.

Liked: This is right on the beach. It is a great location.
Disliked: The coffee maker in the room was broken. And there was no water for the coffee maker in the lobby.

Liked: Location by the beach is awesome by day, but there's a couple of dodgy homeless dudes around at night. Not a massive concern.Staff did a good job dealing with a potential stuff up in booking with Booking.com
Disliked: Limited parking. You might have to walk your luggage a block or two.
