Exceptional

I just love the view...

Liked: The pool and hot tub are the perfect temps. The views from our room were spectacular! The TV was HUGE and had a great picture. The whole outside area around the pool was inviting and comfortable (tiki torches, fire pits, heaters, chaise lounge and comfortable tables and chairs, and free lemonade and iced tea or fruit infused water).The staff are friendly and helpful. The room is large. Everything was comfortable and clean.
Disliked: I wish there was the Cafe was more appealing and bigger.

Fabulous!

Liked: The front desk and valet parking staff were great--professional and very helpful and friendly! The housekeeping staff were also pleasant and efficient. The bar/cafe staff were pleasant and provided good service. Our second floor room and deck had an awesome view of the ocean, the pier, and along the coast over to Point Loma. We are planning another trip here in the near future.
Disliked: Nothing. Everything was great!

I have probably never met...

Liked: Location and size of room were excellent- pool and as well positioned and airy.
Disliked: The metal chairs were shockingly loud scraped against the tiles of the terrace. The screeching echoed throughout the courtyard and every single room faces the courtyard.

Superb

Great location for a family...

Liked: Loved sitting on the balcony and watching the sunsets. Great location and I loved the free bike hire.
Disliked: Spa was not in great shape but otherwise we loved our stay.

Liked: Breakfast was great. The yogurt, granola, fruit and oatmeal with walnuts were good and plentiful. The staff were friendly and helpful. I used a hotel bike at no charge and since they had many available, I didn’t need to return it in 2 hours. I rode it 11 am to 7 pm.
Disliked: It was a little pricey for the area, but the room was spacious and had a pretty good view. I stayed in LaJolla for 4 days prior to staying at PTH so the area in Pacific Beach wasn’t as nice, but I did have wonderful, fresh seafood at Nico’s Fish Market a block or 2 away.
