Very nice motel with excellent...

Liked: It was on a bus route and only a 1/2 block walk to Van Ness Ave (Hwy 101) which was a relatively flat (hill-free) walkway for us to reach Fisherman’s Wharf about 8 blocks away. Recently updated floors and sparkling bathroom. No air conditioning but a rotating fan was supplied & doubled as white-noise for sleeping.
Disliked: The street was busy with muffler noise going uphill to Van Ness. There was complimentary coffee in the morning at the front office but nothing for continental breakfast as we were lead to believe there may be. Our daily breakfast was a steep 1-1/2 blk uphill walk to “The New Spot on Polk” at Van Ness, but well worth it as it was always delicious! Dinners were on Union about 2-3blks away in the other direction.

Liked: The room was nice and bathroom was exceptional. Very comfortable bed.
Disliked: The room was a bit warm and the thermostat didn't seem to work. Some stains on the sheets and the carpet in the room was a tad uncomfortable on bare feet.
