Lovely place to stay

Liked: Room was excellent - clean, comfy, lovely view and good coffee/tea making facilities. Clean, fresh en suite. Food was excellent quality and reasonably priced. Restaurant staff looked after you, making sure you were happy with your meals & drinks.
Disliked: Breakfast food was good quality but a little disorganised - my full Scottish breakfast was initially missing mushroom and tattie scone and my husbands was missing mushroom and sausage - waiting staff noticed & brought out separately on small plates - perhaps a little more attention to detail by breakfast chefs?

Great location, great breakfast and...

Liked: The room was lovely and clean. Once we found the tea and coffee making facilities hidden in the wardrobe, we were impressed that they supplied hot chocolate as well as cookies. The breakfast was fantastic and served in the restaurant with great views across the loch/sea. Great location and very easy to find with great parking facilities at the back of the hotel. Only a 10 minute drive from Oban.
Disliked: The fan in the bathroom didn't seem to work, so after two showers it was incredibly fogged up with condensation and no window in the bathroom to open. Room was adequate in size however if you had more luggage you would struggle with somewhere to store it. There was also a couple of damp patches on the ceiling obviously from a previous roof leak.

Liked: I have stayed at many places but the Oyster Inn surpasses every other place by far. From the warm welcome and information given on check in to the beautiful clean comfortable room to the excellent meal and service. Breakfast was plentiful and very enjoyable. I must mention William ( table / bar staff) what a personality and smiled the whole time. Interaction with staff and customers was entertaining and refreshing. A total asset to the already fantastic team. Would highly recommend this place for a visit.

Liked: Excellent .. lovely friendly staff .. made us feel very welcome .. room was lovely spotlessly clean .. staff were excellent .. amazing breakfast .. we had a lovely meal . Great portions and food was delicious.. would defiantly recommend this lovely homely hotel with beautiful views .. 5 stars

A comfortable stay

Liked: Our room was very comfortable with a view over the bay and a balcony. The Inn was atmospheric and the food good. The staff were welcoming and friendly.
