restful, peaceful, beautiful location

Liked: We were on the 101 returning to Santa Rosa Ca from Seattle and needed a convenient overnight hotel. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and within walking distance to the ocean. The room was bright and roomy and the bath very nice. We rested very well and even got some off road exercise exploring the beautiful area.
Disliked: Nothing we did not like!

Disliked: Was not at all equal to the price. Outlets in the room did not work. Rooms were basic. Sauna had issues.

Not what we expected, and...

Liked: The front desk staff were nice and helpful when they did not have to run around and take care of other stuff. They could really benefit from using some walkie talkies so office staff don't have to run around and can assist guests.
Disliked: Breakfast was horrible, juice boxes, yogurt, bagels, and a choice of 3 sugar cereals. Nothing hot. 3rd floor room had no screens on the windows, and the toilet had to be filled with the ice bucket in order to flush. Ocean view means that because it was on the 3rd floor, you could look through the power lines and over a building, and yes, the beach is over there, not a lie but definitely deceiving. There is no beach access within half a mile.

Liked: The ocean view was spectacular. Spacious rooms. Hot tub, pool, and sauna.

Liked: The staff thumbs up 👍 and the close walk to the beach and downtown area. Loved the size of the refrigerator.
Disliked: The bathroom with too short of a shower curtain and water got everywhere and I had to clean it up so I would not fall. The toilet took multiple times to flush completely
