Our stay was great. Girl at front desk was the sweetest - answered all questions quickly and always with a smile. Rooms were huge! Had a small living room with a televison, a kitchenette with a microwave, refrigerator and sink. Did not know we were getting all of this when I booked. Bedroom was big. Hallways were quiet and we heard no outside noise at night. We were by the railroad tracks and right down town but no noise was heard while sleeping. We ate at the restaurant and food was great. I left my glassess there and we walked to the Stiefel Theatre and watched a concert. When we came back to the OYO Hotel, we decided to stop back in the restaurant and get an appetizer and drinks and the waiter came over and siad I left these earlier, and handed me my glasses. I did not even know they were missing at this point. I thanked him, he was so nice. I asked him what OYO stands for and he said "ON YOUR OWN"! - we all laughed. Great place to stay, I would recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in down town St. Louis! We will stay there again if the oportunity arises.
Liked: The location we walked to the Stiefel Theatre.
Disliked: We had none.

We loved the location of the hotel but we were inconvenienced multiple times during our 2 night stay. We were very disappointed and will be looking for other options the next time we're in St. Louis.
Liked: Location.
Disliked: Elevators and ice machine out of order; furniture dirty and in bad shape; TVs not working properly; door access not working properly; trash in parking garage out of control; no housekeeping services.

Your valet employees are very nice and helpful. I know they also work for tips but feel they went above and beyond to help. The rooms were adequate but a little dirty. If there is a lot going on in the city, be prepared to wait a while for your room. Not impressed. It was close to the Enterprise Center so that was convenient. The small restaurant/bar was inadequate for the size of the hotel. Would not recommend this hotel.
Liked: Location and the valet was convenient.
Disliked: Rooms were not ready. Had to wait in the lobby for over an hour. Would have been longer if had not confronted the manager. He only offered another type of room after complaining. Would have been waiting in lobby for at least another 2 hours according to him.

When this hotel was owned by Sheraton, the rooms were kept up to date and clean. Now, the hotel just needs to do a little renovation at a time to get the hotel looking spiffy. This hotel is located at such a convenient place in downtown St. Louis, with a beautiful mural painted on the side. I would hate to see this hotel go without renovation and lose a lot of business.
Liked: Excellent location to catch Metrolink and walking to other venues. Staff were extremely nice to work with. Comfortable beds, bar food was delicious, bar staff was great. Very comfortable and relaxing place to stay. 1 bedroom suite was very large and home-like. Very quiet by our room.
Disliked: Rooms are dated and one bed cover had residue still stuck to it. There was a lot of dirt build-up in the bathroom corners. Mirrors were not clean. Only 1 trash can in our 1 bedroom suite.

Great rooms and location - watch out for the parking fee!
Liked: My son said that the hotel and rooms are top-notch, ambience was great. Except for the unexpected parking fee, he'd stay there again.
Disliked: $100 parking fee - not told about that on the website! Should have been informed upfront. I pre-paid for this room as a birthday gift for my son. It was embarassing to find out that he had to pay a substantial parking fee when he checked in for a room that was already paid for.

We stayed here because we went to an event at the Peabody. Was definitely within walking distance, so we didn't have to mess with parking. We got free valet parking due to a wedding being in our hotel the same night. When we checked in she moved us to the end of the hall so that we didn't have to hear the party throughout the night. Well we did, but she tried. Would go back - our room was great and it's close to the Scottrade Center and the Peabody.
Liked: Bed was comfortable; room was clean.
