Breakfast a bit pricey.

Liked: Very warm welcome and help with luggage. Taxi booked for us. Rooms very well equipped and comfortable; easy to find.
Disliked: Really needs a lift.

Liked: Been here several times, and shall do so again, but last night was not good, albeit the team handled an incident promptly.The room was exceptionally clean, and the bed and pillows were great. The TV was well positioned.The shower and toiletries, and the towelling, were also all excellent.The staff were helpful and professional.
Disliked: Unfortunately, some roudy customers in an adjacent room were arguing and cursing all night, escalating to the Police having to make an arrest. Hotel reception received several complaints, and acted promptly in securing a Police presence.Not the Hotel's fault, but a lot of us had no sleep. When I eventually got some shut eye, I slept through the period allocated for the breakfast serving, which was frustrating, as the breakfast is always excellent.I was in room 533.A large table/desk, was provided, which had the kettle and tray of coffee and tea options. Sadly, the kettle plug wiring could not reach the double plug socket, which was practically at floor level, and I had to make my coffee with the tray placed on the floor.OF CONCERN, the double plug socket covering, was practically hanging off, and in urgent need of fixing or replacing, especially as it was there to assist in boiling water for a drink!!! VERY DANGEROUS INDEED.There was a bed side, small table, so tightly tucked in that I only noticed another plug option in the morning. Personally, I would not have placed a hot kettle so close to my bed anyway, and even that plug socket was barely six inches off the floor, so the kettle provided would not have "safely" steadied itself upon the bed side table, as it would have been at full stretch, if indeed, able to be placed upon it at all.I would still come again, as the place and team are great, but I would decline room 533, as the plug sockets are all to low for the standard type of kettle they provide, and the plug socket safety issue is not acceptable.
