Liked: We upgraded our room to the deluxe, it was huge. We loved the dining table and chairs. We had a couple of rooms for our group and it was really excellent to have more space to congregate between events. The front desk was also able to keep our rooms relatively close, so my little one could go back and forth to grandma's and it was a real treat for him to have that access.
Disliked: My only suggestion would be an area rug on the hard stone floor, it looks beautiful and it is easier to keep clean and I really appreciate that, it just makes for an echoey sleeping space.

Liked: The room was spacious and comfortable. Close to shopping, I always forget to pack something.
Disliked: We looked for a drink in the morning to take medication. The only thing offered was a $5 bottle of water. Seemed like a lot to me.

Liked: We liked the friendly and warm staff, the spacious suite we were kindly upgraded to at no extra cost, free drinks and breakfast, and the quality of the pub fare offered by the kitchen. The dry sauna was divine.
Disliked: The pool and hot tub need some love. There was a lot of build up and discoloration on both. The water under the type of lights used in the pool area looked a sickly green. The location on Hayden Island was really frustrating to get to and from either North or South Portland. We ran into massive slowdowns any direction we tried to come or go. We chose it to be close to friends who live on the island but it was such a pain to come and go that we wouldn’t stay here again in spite of enjoying the hotel itself.
