Exceptional

Disappointed this time

Liked: I stay regularly at this hotel as its perfect location and usually really good value for money. located very close to Earls Court station, lots of shops and eateries around and located on a really nice street.
Disliked: As mentioned, I usually stay in this hotel on a regular basis due to the proximity of the hotel to my office. Unfortunately on this occasion, I was very disappointed with the room. I have not booked a budget room, I had booked a double room where they gave me an option for a double bed or two twins. Upon getting into the room the double bed was actually a pull-out sofa bed which was incredibly uncomfortable. Have never been into a room before where the main bed was a sofa bed. It would be really helpful to have had that detailed in the room description.

Disliked: I did go to the wrong hotel initially as it’s not marked as the Oxford hotel this is a minor quibble

Liked: Ideal location, comfortable bed good breakfast
Disliked: Unfortunately we had no hot water on the first night and no telephone service throughout our stay !

Good service and modern rooms...

Liked: It’s very confusing as you stay in a different building with a different hotel name than what you booked, but if you read the instructions they send properly, it’s there! I had read many reviews saying the room was too small with bad sound isolation and was afraid of that. Luckily I got upgraded despite having paid for the smallest room. I got a pretty decent room, all very new and clean. The mattress is the most comfortable but pillows and bed linen are nice. The service is very good, friendly.
Disliked: Breakfast is regular, nothing special. The sound isolation in the bedroom is indeed quite poor, but we didn’t have too noisy neighbours.
