Liked: Lovely welcome and I felt like I was home from home. I would love to stay again the next time I’m in town. I had a double room which had a patio area outside which was very nice. The motel has a living room and a self catering bar area so it would be a great spot for a group if you bring your own

Liked: We booked for two nights with a view to moving on but liked Overdale enough to decide to stay longer. Friendly, welcoming, efficient. Breakfast very good. Our room was relatively small but it didn’t need to be big; it was comfortable and suited our needs. I’ve read many of the reviews and would suggest to those few with moans that they actually read about where they’re booking and what it offers before they book. I knew exactly what to expect and Overdale exceeded my expectations. As Susan says, it’s a motel, not a hotel (though I’ve paid double Overdale’s price for lesser facilities in some hotels). Recommended, we’d definitely stay again.

Liked: Owner was welcoming and accommodated our need to have one in our party get an early breakfast. The bedroom had one double and one single - well decorated and thought out plan of the room made it comfortable for the three of us. Owner recommended a place to eat dinner that was excellent. Parking at the property. Breakfast was delicious. Location was ideal for us and close to local amenities.

Liked: Everything about Overdale is lovely. Location is great. Bedrooms spacious and comfortable, so cosy altogether. Shop close by, as its within petrol station. Highly recommend.
Disliked: Nothing.
