Good

Liked: The old time classy atmosphere of its dinning and super nice location.
Disliked: Connection to pool and beach trough BOH. I found it very dirty and smelly. This needs to improve by a lot.

Convenient and comfortable

Liked: Location! Our room was very spacious and comfortable.
Disliked: Tiny balcony next to a building with very loud fans. We were on the 15th floor and the traffic was still super noisy. The pool area is pretty crowded.

relaxing

Liked: the room was on the 2nd floor verry nosie the moved uo to the 12 floor made all the difference we went from checking out to will come back soon
Disliked: room was vert nice frige did not work dead needs replaces and door off hinges to safe maintenance cane uo to fix hinges forgot about the fridge but we did not need it

Spring break

Liked: The location was close to everything.The staff were very friendly.
Disliked: The rooms are out dated. The room had a weird smell, might have been the carpet. Having the coffee and refrigerator set up in the bathroom is the worst idea. That is so unsanitary.

Great location and stay right...

Liked: The location of the Outrigger is hard to beat. It’s right on Waikiki beach and an easy walk to many shops and restaurants. It has a family friendly atmosphere and having the restaurant Duke’s in the lower lobby is wonderful. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet here and lunch. Also, every room has a balcony which was great.
Disliked: Due to the limited amount of chairs at the pool, you have to be in line well before the pool opens at 8am to have a chance of snagging some pool side chairs. All of the chairs were gone within 2 minutes of them opening the pool. The first day we tried to get pool chairs, we weren’t able to, so we ended up renting chairs and an umbrella on the beach (ran by another vendor, not Outrigger) which was $100 for the day. This turned out to be a great beach day. The next time we tried to get pool chairs, my husband was in line at 7:40 or so and we were able to get some of the last pool chairs. People probably stared lining up around 7am. You just have to have decent planning, but it will be well worth it.

Wouldn't stay there again unless...

Liked: Right on the beach. Right across the street from the International Market. Loads of restaurants within easy walking distance. Beach was beautiful. pool and beach towels provided during our stay. Restaurants both had ocean views. The Hula Grille food was excellent.
Disliked: The balcony was almost unusable. The building next to our balcony, had an extremely load squeal coming from their rooftop equipment. Couldn't hear the ocean and was painful to listen to. This noise was 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The noise could be heard in the room but only slightly.
