Good location with direct beach...

Liked: great location with a direct beach access, pool on site, everything was close (walking distance), good restaurants in the area, shops directly at the resort - very convenient.
Disliked: there were no spa services directly at the resort, the ABC store was very expensive, and I had unfortunate experience with the pool bar personnel who was super rude. Also, the pool area was mostly in the shade as it is located between two high buildings

A beautiful yet laid-back beach...

Liked: Beautiful hotel, fabulous staff and in a fantastic location by the beach. We were very kindly upgraded to a suite and it totally blew us away! The views were absolutely spectacular and we loved spending time on the balcony at all times of day. We spent quite a lot of time at the Kani Ka Pila Grille, as they had incredible staff members, generous drink sizes and really fantastic food. Just next to the hotel is a lovely park and big stretch of beach going north west - recommend strolling along here at sunset. If we ever make it back to Hawaii I’ll definitely stay here again, just gorgeous.
Disliked: Nothing.

Beautiful resort on Waiki beach...

Liked: Beautiful location on Waikiki Beach with spacious, comfortable and very clean rooms. We had an amazing view from our balcony with water and city views. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived and every staff member was friendly and helpful. Shops and restaurants on site as well as all of Waikiki a short walk away. The pool is accommodating though with no view but close access to the beach makes up for it.
Disliked: Unfortunately part of Waikiki beach along the hotel has eroded away. You have to walk about 20 yards to get to a sandy beach section.
