Beautiful resort close to Lihue

Liked: Our kids loved the pool and after a long fight; we appreciated the very short drive to the resort from the airport. The resort is well situated on the Island and the resort grounds are beautiful.
Disliked: I should have checked the room description more closely before booking as the double beds (smaller than queen beds) were too small for our needs. We made do; but it wasn't ideal. Additionally, there was a maintenance issue with our room and we had to switch mid-way through; the staff were helpful in us making the transition. Additionally, there can be a shortage of pool lounges depending on the time of day.

Liked: The friendliness of the staff was awesome!
Disliked: Shower dripped and flooded the BR floor overnight, light inside the door never worked.

Liked: The resort was very close to the airport and beautifully located by water. Bars and restaurants had great food!
Disliked: The bed did not feel very comfortable and the bathroom was not clean when we got there. It was cleaned later on though.

Liked: Beautiful pools, beach too. Great location for the island. The front door bell staff was very friendly and helpful, plus the weekend concierge was great.
