Disappointed for the price

Liked: As a young person I was severely disappointed. I thought because of our age we were treated very differently. Gym was nice and very clean. Spa was at full capacity and told we had to write our numbers down to get a phone call when it has got spaces. We never received that phone call so went back a hour or so later to an empty spa. Thanks for the call. The restaurant was very nice apart from waiting so long to order, so long to get our food then waited about an hour for the bill without any offer of dessert. Room was nice but for the price I didn’t want two single lumpy beds pushed together. Service was slow at the bar and only got one drink each (was with my partner) which came to £20. Very expensive. Wouldn’t stay here again but to look at was aesthetically beautiful to look at. Not worth the money

Liked: Friendly staff really made our stay, especially Yousaf, Robbie and Reece. Best cream tea ever. Venue, location, cleanliness were exceptional. Would highly recommend it.

2 night business trip

Liked: Communal areas, bar & restaurant area and grounds are lovely. Staff very friendly Room (particularly bathroom) in need of some updating. No complimentary toiletries, aside from the same handwash for dual usage at washbasin and in shower as shampooExpect a little more from such a nice venue
