Superb

Lovely hotel.location and staff

Liked: We stayed in the osbourne suit and amazing room with stunning views. I would only say I was disappointed was the bedding and size of bed, it could have been better quality sheets . Very hot room with fan by the bed so linen was of been nicer and cooler. Very large room would have been nicer for a bigger bed.

Beautiful hotel in stunning locations...

Liked: The hotel is incredibly run down and is not kept well at all! It is a beautiful building in a stunning setting, but this building needs care and proper management. The floor boards are creaky and moving around. The sides of the jacuzzi bath are broken and dirty. The carpets and the towels are stained. Some of the staff are very nice and well meaning (such as the guy who set up my son’s roller bed), but the hotel really needs to be managed properly… we had free breakfast as genius reward from booking.com but we could not have it because it was finished too early (never heard of hotel breakfast ending at 9:30 am? İs this a boarding school?) then we wanted to have coffee, but there was noone to serve us because the entire staff was in the back room celebrating a staff member farewell party…. Really strange for a hotel that is supposed to be 4 stars?

Short but quality break in...

Liked: The location, which is exceptional with sea views and a very relaxed and quiet environment. The staff who are very friendly and helpful. The.breakfast, which provided quality and choiceThe quality and history of the building itself, which again is exceptional.
Disliked: The evening meals were fine but could have offered more variety.

Liked: Staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and appear to have been redecorated which was good. Lovely sea view. Breakfast was very good. Prefer table service to buffet style.
Disliked: Rooms with very hot, no air conditioning. Floors are on a slope but understand this is an old building. Shower could be upgraded to a rain fall. The shower head was quite small and slow for a double shower base. Water filled up more at one end due to uneven floors. Could provide face clothes, more toiletries (larger) Corridors have been painted in a dark terracotta colour which makes it look dark and a bit dated. Could have been painted to match the rooms (personal opinion)

Exceptional

Liked: Pretty much everything. Fantastic staff, especially the two reception ladies we dealt with during the stay and the F&B manager. Location is superb. This is our 3rd visit so knew what to expect really.
Disliked: Hills. Lol.

Fabulous hotel

Liked: Fabulous hotel with fantastic views, our room the junior suite was very clean and spacious, staff where really accommodating organised us a pack lunch as we had an early check out, would definitely stay again.
