BEWARE - hotel does not...

Disliked: As of 01/17/2025 this hotel DOES NOT EXIST but yet Wyndham is still taking reservations for it. I fault Wyndham for this, not Booking.com (read on). In May 2024 we booked a reservation for the CFP National Championship weekend (Jan 2025). When we arrived the entire main level (incld lobby) had been gutted and had loads of construction equipment and materials in it. We called the hotel (no answer, no returned call), Wyndham reservations and Wyndham Customer Care and not a single person knew that this hotel was not open. They had 9 months to forewarn us and try to help us find an alternative. We had to book another hotel at the last minute for a weekend when over 100 000 visitors were in Atlanta. We were lucky to get a smaller, much more expensive room. Wyndham would not do ANYTHING for us because we booked through a 3rd party. So far it seems Booking.com will work with us to try to make it right.
