Liked: Just a short walk to Cathedral Square & on the Hop on/hop off bus route. Host & staff very friendly.

Formal but awkward B&B in...

Liked: Location was great, close to all in downtown Christchurch & the botanic gardens & park. Clean.safe Parking in a lot on site.
Disliked: Property is in need of deferred maintenance. Separate bath from room. Check in only until 6 pm with host. Skeleton key with tricky locks. Mattress was uncomfortable, super basic pillows. Little storage. heater did not work. Few welcome amenities. It felt formal and awkward. We did not feel comfortable to relax here. Breakfast was just ok. No signage on building made it difficult to spot. Very expensive for the overall value.
