Liked: a basic hostel in a good location near the famous tram and major hub of public transport. It was a perfect location when you come from the airport at any time. It was easy to reach many location in San Francisco. Its a big city and lots of transport options (which was somestimes very confusing). I enjoyed staying for a budget traveller.. the room was clean, quiet (propably now in off season), spacious also the shower facilities were clean. blanket was provided, which i like. only the mattress had a crunchy plastic cover, not my noise ;). Beside these the bed was really comfortable. the breakfast provided was what you expect of a hostel. Quite surprised about the choose you had. Its a bonus when you are on a budget. Staff was friendly and the property got cleaned all the time, wauw! huge respect and thanks to the cleaning staff!!
Disliked: It could be nice and a huge bonus to the hostel, to add showergel in the ensuite bathroom from the room for your convenience. Especially when you come from the toilet, more hygienic! Maybe more couches to relax at night time, the front desk wasn't not the most comfiest. you have extra relax area's through the floors but i feel to disturb other people on the floor. loved my stayed overall! thank you a lot!

Convenient and comfortable

Liked: Easy check in/check out. Comfortable bed. Good size (private) room. Clean. Breakfast was convenient and provided good choice. Having the lift is also great.
Disliked: The location was convenient but can be a bit shady at night- if you turn right out of the hostel then all ok, if you turn left then there are a lot of drug users, unhoused etc. Just have to make sure to get off at the right bus stop!The walls are extremely thin- we were by the lift and can hear every footstep, ding of the lift etc. However, the whole place was quiet at night, no loud people there when we stayed, and it didn't cause any issue. Also the colour of the room is weird, but very minor issue!

Easy check in, secure, clean,...

Liked: Easy check in, secure, clean, affordable, I ended up having a room by myself so it was nice and quiet. I had an appointment the next morning at the SF Passport Agency so this was a perfect one night stay. Front desk staff was courteous.
Disliked: It was a solid stay. Hmm only thing I didn't see was hand soap in the my room. I know it's a hostel so I don't expect much but I could've used it.

Really nice place to stay.

Liked: It was clean and safe. While it is close to the tenderloin, my friend and I felt fine when we were walking late at night to back to the hostel. While there is no parking at the hostel it’s located nearby to a tested parking lot so that was nice. The breakfast was good too; small but the waffles were tasty.
Disliked: I didn’t love the bedding available. I was warm at night but the blanket provided didn’t feel clean enough to me (the linens were fine). I didn’t ask to have it switched out because it wasn’t visibly dirty, it just didn’t feel clean.
