I would gladly stay in...

Liked: The hostel has a wonderful location. Excellent and comfortable accommodation — clean, cozy, and with delicious food. Friendly neighbors create a welcoming atmosphere, and special thanks to the receptionist Alik for his hospitality and attentiveness!
Disliked: However, I was disappointed to find that the toilet in my room was broken, and it seemed like this had been an ongoing issue. The toilet leaked all night, and despite my attempts to fix it, I only reported it to reception in the morning. Thank you for fixing it, although it happened just before my check-out.Additionally, during breakfast, the kitchen staff made me wash my own dishes, while none of the men were asked to do so. I find this discriminatory, and such behavior is unacceptable.

Located in downtown and easy...

Liked: They have a front desk that is open 24/7 and key card security for entrance, elevator and room entry. Free breakfast from 7- 10am. friendly staff. They provided free ear plugs.
Disliked: Property is next to Hilton Hotel with employees on strike now, heard they’ve been on strike for over 4 months. I’m a union supporter but the protestors march / picket and bang garbage drums and shout from 7AM to 10 pm so it gets annoying. The ear plugs help a lot.

I'm a big fan of...

Liked: The location is PERFECT if you want to explore San Francisco. It's a few short minutes from the BART metro station. The staff is exceptionally helpful (Roberto, Gilberto and Arelis) and friendly. My recent stay was my second and I'll keep coming back for the. reasons I set forth above.
Disliked: There was a strike going on at a Hilton hotel down the street from Orange and the noise was unbearable at times. That's not the fault of Orange but it did impact on the stay. Hopefully the strike will end soon.
