Lovely hotel but very noisy

Liked: Beautiful room, lovely staff, great mini bar, excellent water pressure, nice big towels, comfy beds, very convenient location across the road from train/underground station and bus stops and plenty of shops, restaurants etc.
Disliked: Sooooooo noisy. We didn't get much sleep thanks to the traffic and airplanes. Our room was facing the street, over the terrace so a bit of cigarette smoke was wafting in even with the windows closed. The double glazing isn't super effective against the busy area. Pack ear plugs.
