Passable

Disliked: They offered us an upgrade which we took. The king suite looked run down. The shower was small. The finishing was not as nice as the basic room we stayed in 3 days before that. I think your basic rooms are so much nicer - i wish we did not upgrade.

Perfect for a quick getaway...

Liked: Great location! Met with Prosecco at check-in. Room was spacious and well appointed. Hotel smelled great :)

Superb

Liked: Great breakfast. Excellent service.Wonderful reception. Loved the offer of wine on arrival.
Disliked: The room wall colors are a little too vibrant for my taste. We moved from a lime green room to a deep orange room.

Exceptional

Great location & staff

Liked: Great location. Spacious room with sitting area (although we upgraded). Staff were very friendly. Bed was comfy although on the softer side. Loved the in-room Nespresso machine.
Disliked: Our room faced the street, which was a little noisy. Decor feels a bit dated and could use an update.

Boutique bliss

Liked: The elevators smelled so good. It sounds silly but attention to details like that is what sets hotels like the Opus apart. The staff were all exceptionally warm and helpful and the experience was great. My room and bed were large as was the four-piece bathroom. I didn't have breakfast but dinner from the restaurant downstairs was fantastic. The location Is amazing with dozens of restaurants within walking distance. The station for the airport train is just across the street.
Disliked: Nothing.

Great stay for Vancouver.

Liked: This was our second time staying here and the experience is always great. Friendly staff, location is near restaurants, the metro stop is a block away and you're minutes away from the water. Valet is 50% for EVs and they charged my car overnight which is a bonus.

Exceptional

Liked: Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by staff with a glass of sparkling rosé (a genius benefit apparently), which was generously topped up before we went to our room
Disliked: Nothing, everything was great!
