Liked: Very central location. Lady at th front desk was very helpful
Disliked: There was construction work on in the building next door (which wasn't the fault of the hotel). Our room was beside the other building. When we got into our room (around 3pm) there was a lot of knocking on our wall. We went out shortly afterwards so the noise didn't really bother us. The noise started up again the following morning. We checked out early in the morning. Wouldn't be great if you planned on having a nap during the day!

Construction work next door not...

Disliked: They did not disclose at time of booking that there were construction works going on in the building next door (they were fully aware of it since the whole building was under renovations and you could see trucks going in and out) it was incredibly loud making sleeping or working or just staying in the room basically impossible. They should say it in advance since I highly doubt it was the first time happening considering the dimensions of the construction site next door.

The location, value for money,...

Liked: Recently renovated, comfortable rooms, lovely service, great location, all together well worth the money, and of course memorable elevator :)
Disliked: my bedroom has a very tiny bathroom, and it has the smell of a dump, but it was the pillowcase covers, they changed it and it was fine. Otherwise its a lovely and modern, looks like renovated hotel.

Not value for money when...

Liked: The location is excellent
Disliked: The room and bathroom are very small; the hotel is also not properly soundproof such at you can hear your neighbours and people outside the door very clearly even though guests were acting normally. It meant I was woken up at 6am. Breakfast was very basic, and had to ask the staff to replenish the eggs. I didn’t think this was value for money when compared to other hotels in the area.

Liked: Great location, nice room, good shower and fantastic staff! Thank you. Elise was very helpful and kind. It was my cousin's first trip to Paris and she was so excited.
Disliked: Curtains on the window were coming off of the hooks. Beds were together - I stayed with my cousin, and we booked a room with two twin beds. The room had 2 twin beds pushed together like a king-sized bed. The hotel offered to push them apart, but that would only leave 2 feet between the beds. So, in the end, the room was a good size for one big bed, but not really big enough for 2 separate beds.
