Liked: The staff was very nice, the location was so convenient, the room was very clean, however the hotel itself is only ok. The window in our room was tiny and we didn’t get any natural light, which was a bit grim, the room as a whole was very average and the wifi was poor. As a whole the experience felt a bit overpriced.

Disliked: Condition of our bedroom. The toilet / shower room door would not close. This due to what I would say had been an overflow of water in the shower room / toilet. The door base & shower room skirting was rotten due to dampness. Rendering the door misaligned & unable to close. In addition to this problem. Flooring tiles on the floor around the periphery of the bed had a black plastic beading. This had been secured or attempted to be secured to the floor by means of screw nails. Which were protruding 2 mm above the beading. An accident waiting to happen. Unfortunately the accident happened to me. Catching the sole if my foot on the screw nail on getting out of my bed. My opinion I am amazed this room was put up for use. Considering the maintenance & repair that was necessary. It would be appreciated if the management team replied to my complaints. Which I should say I informed the reception team of the problems we experienced

Great location with plenty of...

Liked: The location made it very easy to walk to all the areas we wanted to visit. There’s plenty of food and bar options nearby. The room was spacious and had the basics we needed.
Disliked: The towels were a bit dirty in our room when we arrived, most likely from makeup that hadn’t come out in a wash but the rest of the room smelt and looked clean. The staff were a little bit unhelpful when we arrived. Check-in stated 2pm and we arrived slightly early around 1:40pm to see if the room might be ready but completely understanding it may not be. We were told the room wasn’t ready and would be ready around 2:30-3pm so we walked down the road for some lunch. We can back at 3:15pm and were told it still wasn’t ready and would be about 10 more minutes so we went for another walk and came back 15 minutes later only to be told it wasn’t ready and they didn’t know when it would be. There were about 4 other people also waiting for their rooms to be ready. It wasn’t so much an issue about the room not being ready but more so the lack of accurate information. If we had known it would be a few hours before the room was ready we would’ve gone out site seeing but after a long day of travel and wanting a shower we relied on the fact the staff told us a time and were back for that. We understand it’s not always in their control but it was a little frustrating and we could see the other people waiting to check in were frustrated too. Other than that the staff were very friendly and our stay was good.

Perfect location, comfy bed, great...

Liked: Staff were excellent; very friendly and helpful! Location was perfect. Shower was great, and the bed was one of the comfiest hotel beds we've ever stayed in.
Disliked: Wifi wasn't great, and the elevators seemed pretty dodgy! Other than that everything was great.
