Comfortable, stylish, everything we hoped...

Liked: Staff were helpful, friendly and professional. Bed was very comfortable and the shower was big, warm and powerful. The hotel was stylish and well located. We walked to everything we needed from here
Disliked: Slight downside was our room was on the ground floor at the front so it was a little noisy at night with people and traffic going past even though it seems it isn't on a busy street but sound travels! To be expected in a city though

Liked: The pool area was a bonus in the city Parking was difficult but handy Reception staff were very nice
Disliked: Our bedroom on arrival had jelly sweets stuck to the floor, the room was above the kitchens and the noise was horrendous it kept us awake into the night the next day we were moved to a ground floor room that felt like a prison cell, we should have realised there was an issue with the room on arrival as a French couple were already com plaining and had just been moved out of it. The pool area was quite nice but there was not enough loungers and the bar area was closed so they advised to use a phone BUT it didn't work?? we had to keep going down in the lift for a drink. The breakfast was just pure disarray On arrival every table was was covered in mess nothing was cleared you had to stand about until it was cleared. following that the food was poor, we had lemon slices that had been sliced on a chopping board that must have had onions on it as they were cross contaminated when I pointed it out to the waitress she just laughed.

Liked: Friendly staff, room was lovely and great breakfasts.
Disliked: Slightly further out from the attractions than we thought.

Liked: The hotel is well located. That's where the positives end.
Disliked: The room is so small, 2 adults can't pass each other. The bed is too small for 2 adults. And the less said about the parking arrangements the better. I'll say it anyway for the benefit of others. Only very very small cars can be parked in the basement parking. The entrance and exit to the car parking for the cars is a lift. God bless you if the lift malfunctions and your car gets stuck in the basement parking lot.
