Beautiful hotel and interesting place to visit and see inside. It was minutes from the venue where we enjoyed a concert that night. There is a parking garage directly across the street where overnight parking was available for $13. Valet parking was $29 in comparison.

Liked: Roomy and clean room. Desk employees were friendly and informative.
Disliked: Room service prices were obnoxious as I should have expected, so there was no way I was going to order anything. You have to pay for WiFi too.

We enjoyed our stay!

Liked: Both my husband and I appreciate the atmosphere of the William Penn Hotel. Architecture, decorating, rooms… They are all just very awesome!
Disliked: For the most part, we had a great stay, but two things I would mention: one is that we had trouble with the shower and we had no shampoo, conditioner, or shower gel in our room. We did call the front desk and they got some for us rather quickly. Regarding the breakfast, I felt it was quite pricey, especially for someone like me who does not eat a breakfast buffet.

Disliked: One of the heat vents in the room was didn’t work, was pushing out cold air. The restaurant downstairs was not the best. They had a trainee serve us who didn’t even know to say good morning; please train your people well especially for the caliber of hotel you claim to be . I ordered the avocado toast. For the price, man , it was depressing …. The avocado basically drowned the bread not b’se it was a generous portion of avocado but b’se the bread was of “wonder bread” quality.If you claim to be the high caliber hotel and restaurant you are please serve food that matches it. Find a local an artisan baker and have a nice thick whole grain bread for the avocado toast that is actually filling.
