Liked: Awesome gym. Very helpful staff. Super clean and comfy room. We got an upgrade since we were there to celebrate our wedding (thanks, Omni!).
Disliked: Some of the stairways were super hot. Not a big deal, just a heads up.

I got overcharged.

Palace Overlooking Rock Creek Park...

Liked: Location:Overlooking Rock Creek Park and across into the natural valley that runs through DC with plenty of space to escape the pace of DuPont. The food is delicious with generous portions and the staff are willing to help you in this palace-like hotel. Open layout with plenty of outdoor gardens in which to socialize

Liked: I was upgraded to suite for free. Location close to metro. Breakfast tasty but expensive.
Disliked: Valet parking too expensive. Breakfast too expensive.

Little value for a lot...

Liked: Easy to reach location. It also has a metro station nearby as well as a few nice small restaurants.
Disliked: The hotel visualizes past glory: classic interior and design, but lacking the functionality and ease of today. Hotel room is noisy, wireless in the common areas spotty, lifts slow, etc. Given the price per night and the many additional hidden fees, one would expect much better.

Great location, although somewhat outdated...

Liked: The location of the hotel is fantastic. Very close to the zoo and the Shoreham Parkway. Really nice Washington DC neighborhood. The hotel has a lot of events going on and is quite busy, but the staff are very helpful.
Disliked: The hotel rooms are quite outdated - at least in the Parkview rooms. The doors and the walls are paper thin. I could hear the conversations next door and music from two doors down - neither of which were particularly loud.
