Broken sharp curtain handle

Liked: First off, the staff was incredibly attentive and friendly.However the room needed attending...The curtain pull (clear plastic long handle) cut my hand as it was already broken in half when we got there. On the 3rd day of using the broken plastic handle it cut me. The handle has a sharp edge where it has cracked in half. I let the staff know at the front desk when I left. I had a first aid kit with me and it was a clean slice so not too bad. Also the faucet hot water gets very very hot. May burn if not aware and attentive.

Liked: Location is perfect, very close to the famous streets, and very convenient for restaurant and bars.

Liked: when we arrived Paige on reception couldn’t have been more helpful really pleasant and helpful - the room was lovely and in a really good location
Disliked: Breakfast was poor and not value for money - one member of staff at breakfast wasnt overly friendly - hence we didn’t eat there again - as we wandered in for breakfast I did wonder why there weren’t many people at breakfast now I know why hence we didn’t book for dinner. Also on our arrival at the hotel we were shocked to buy two drinks - a beer and a white wine and lemonade which cost us 50 dollars which was very expensive to say the least!!!

Disappointing hotel

Liked: When we arrived at the property we were given a room with an adjoining door after 20 hours travelling. The next room was full of people having a party. We went back and complained to the desk receptionist. The manager never came out to see us and all we got from the receptionist was we will kick them out if you wait. They did not have a room of the same standard to give us as there was a wedding going on and the hotel was full.We checked out and had to go to another hotel. The next day we went back and spoke to a different duty manager who apologised for the way we were treated and offered a full refund.
