Great for family get away.

Liked: The pools and slides were great. Love that there’s adult spots for peace and quiet. The spa was fabulous.
Disliked: The room was a bit tired and overlooked an arroyo. Not fabulous. A 20% gratuity was added to my (already pricey) spa treatment. That’s ok but then they gave me an envelope for a tip and said I should tip personally to indicate my level of satisfaction! What?!?

Liked: The rooms are spacious and the grounds are pretty.
Disliked: This place is TIRED. It is long overdue for a real renovation. I have stayed here on and off for years. It was pretty great before the Omni purchased it. It is clearly lacking staffing, maintenance and housekeeping training. They also gouge you for fees. CA is supposed to require disclosure of fees, but you don't have an option on the resort fee even if you are traveling for business and don't use any amenities. Also read the fine print because although there is AMPLE and expansive parking everywhere they still make you pay $25. My highlight...I had trip over two bags of towels/linens that were left in the hallway next to a housekeeping closet (that had its handle/door tied open with a pillowcase) on my way to the ice machine room that had no working light. After calling three times over the 24 hours of my stay someone finally removed the bags of laundry.

Liked: It was so beautiful and everyone so was wonderful. I bought the room for my brother and his wife because they just got married that day. Everyone was so accommodating.
Disliked: Easy access, everything was just beautiful.
