The room was nice. Bathroom a bit small; elevators noisy but well worth it for the charm of the building if you like history.

Liked: Classic building, pleasant staff and very clean. We always stay here while in Boston and it never disappoints. We are looking forward to the new renovations coming this year!

Liked: we like the location like the hotel itself overall, but unfortunately, there were some things not up to standard
Disliked: didn’t like that the main bar upstairs was not open and hasn’t been open for the past four or five years since the pandemic each time we go there we keep getting the same thing. Yes it’s going to be open soon, and the noise of all of the work been done at 7 o’clock in the morning, construction has to be done but starting dead on 7 o’clock in the morning it’s a bit early and a bit Irish

Liked: Hotel is currently being refurbished, our room was small and a bit tired. Good location and friendly and attentive staff.
Disliked: Room was dated and in need of modernisation.

Liked: Decor in lobby.freezing. cleanliness of room.
Disliked: Facilities were outdated. Room very tiny did not fit representation in photo. "Resort fee" charged despite no activity on site. One pub permanently closed the other overcrowded. Toliet water ran all night. Temperature control very bad- room either very warm or feeezing. No amenities except a coffee machine. Not even complimentary water.
