Liked: Incredibly friendly staff. Very nice hotel. Wonderful location.

It was New Year's Eve. We let the Valet park our large, awkward Dually pick up truck for us and were greeted warmly by front desk staff. Our room was pleasant and clean. It had a mini fridge and comfortable bed with nice linens and a comforter, with a view of the indoor atrium area. The atmosphere was festive. The walk to our concert was too short (!) (less than 5 minutes to the Jefferson Theatre, an awesome concert venue for an unforgettable Jason Isbell concert - check him out!), because we were enjoying the lovely Pedestrian Mall shops and holiday atmosphere. A restful night. Friendly valet brought our truck around promptly, and we were on our way home. Excellent hotel, had a great time!

Liked: The breakfast was excellent, and the location, right beside the downtown mall, makes for very easy walking to five bookstores and a 1960s drugstore soda fountain (Timberlakes) that serves a great chocolate egg cream.
Disliked: The hotel is a half mile from the Amtrak station, and, on the return, some of that was uphill, so the walk was longer than I realized it would be.

Liked: The breakfast at the hotel restaurant was very good. I appreciated the drink coupons and used them for morning coffee at the bar. The staff was great! Location is great. I could walk to restaurants and shops.
