We stayed here for a concert nearby and the room was beautiful. Loved the roof top pool. Will definitely be staying here again!

Perfect stay for a busy...

Liked: The property was absolutely beautiful and extremely well maintained. Our room was beautiful, clean, and made the trip for us. We ordered room service and our meal was such a decadent treat.
Disliked: We drive a big truck and parking was difficult. Some areas of the garage are quite low and the turns are very tight.

Good, not great

Liked: We stayed at Omni Austin Hotel Downtown for 3 nights. We stayed in a Deluxe King Room. We came for ACL, so it was quite busy all around the hotel and the city. Hotel has a bar on the first floor, kind of like a lobby bar, as well as a rooftop pool and bar area. Downstairs, they will also have a quick coffee shop where you can grab a coffee and some simple morning meal like a bagel or a sandwich. Hotel is located right around the main downtown area, just a few blocks away from the famous 6th street. It's a great location if you want to stay very close to where most of the fun nightlife happens. The room overall was very nice. It was pretty clean overall. The bathroom had incredible lighting (perfect for my wife doing her makeup), and overall everything seemed to be renovated relatively recently. If you tend to sleep with blackout curtains/need pitch black darkness in your room to get quality sleep, this will be perfect. The room also had a mini fridge, a smart TV, and was overall very spacious for a hotel room.
Disliked: Please keep in mind that they DO NOT have complimentary internet. It's paid, and if you do pay for it, it's very slow. If you don't want to pay for it, you can sign up for their rewards. However, every time we tried to do it we would get an error on their website. We had to work from the hotel for a couple of hours and had to use hot spot instead. I don't remember last time I was at a good hotel that did not provide complimentary internet, especially in the US. Another negative was the bed -- the mattress and the pillows both were just incredibly uncomfortable. Pillows were too thin and mattress a bit too stiff.

Liked: We only stayed for 1 night. All the staff we encountered were very friendly, from front desk, valet, to bartenders.Centrally located and easy to walk to many places. The only negative would be the $67 valet parking fee!!
