Liked: Hotel itself was great but opposite our room there was major building work going on and the noise, which started at 7.00am, was really bad. As the room was quite warm we had to have the windows open which obviously exacerbated the noise levels.

Liked: Room was noisey at night, plus not comfortable as there was no carpet in the room which made the room feel colder
Disliked: No carpet in room and noisey at night as windows were not double glazed, hence sleep was interrupted several times during the night.

Hotel in great location but...

Liked: The hotel was in a great location but the windows need to be replaced. We had a great view of Scott’s monument but we could also hear everything outside including the trams. They do have an elevator but you have to use the stairs to reach reception.
