Good location for local amenities...

Liked: Very good location. Room was very clean.
Disliked: When we arrived we went to our allocated room - to be told 10 minutes later we had been given th ewrong room. thankfully this was sorted relatively quickly and we didn't have to move rooms.

Christmas City Break Dec 2024

Liked: Central location right on Princes Street easy access to shopping christmas markets historical areas bus & train stations. Buffet breakfast was well prepared and presented with good choice of hot & cold foods. Dining area was bright with attentive staff. All staff were lovely and always greeted visitors with a smile and hello. Comfortable lounge area overlooking Princes Street gardens.
Disliked: Our room was very small with a small window overlooking messy fire escape. Very clean and cosy but basic. Have stayed in several similar hotels and paid a lot less for better room and facilities. That said location of hotel was spot on and would stay again but request a different room.

Liked: The location was the best things about the hotel.
Disliked: The breakfast was awful. No effort had been made to think of anything other than the basics. The greasiest bacon I have ever seen. The scrambled eggs were so rubbery they would have bounced. It wasn't even tasty. Brown or white sliced bread and that was it....no fresh bread. £15 was a joke!
