Liked: The location and its surroundings, were perfect. Staff extremely attentive and friendly.Bathroom, luxury toiletries and towels, slippers and robes.
Disliked: One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was they had a few open fires in the pub and dining areas unfortunately for us they weren't working! This was very disappointing I think a little note on their website would be an idea to save potential disappointment to customers.Rooms were let down by little things, stains on the bed valance sheet, chair and carpet stains .Paint chipped on bath and sink units. If you are marketing hotel rooms as 5* at £550 for 2nights in a deluxe room, there certainly should be spotless in my opinion!
