Disliked: Upgrade room only one double socket in room one was used for lightKettle at other side of the room no plugParking two empty disabled spaces empty when we arrived due to event even though I am a blue badge holder had to park half a mile away and walk to the hotel When we finally got parked in the disabled space they charge £10:00per night parkingBreakfast was very poor food under cooked no cooked meats or cheese for a continental breakfast

Great location, clean and comfortable....

Liked: Location. Comfortable and clean. Reception staff welcoming. Lady meeting and greeting at breakfast.
Disliked: Had to request extra towels each day. Although two of us in the room only had one towel. Bath did not drain. Filled up whilst having a shower. Reported on first evening, was told it would be dealt with but wasn’t. The bar had no lemons and limes for G&TApparently had run out! Surely someone could have bought some from local supermarket whilst waiting for a delivery? Bored waiters at breakfast who really didn’t want to be working.

Charming old fashioned venue with...

Liked: Beautiful hotel in a great location for the town and conference centre. Our room was huge with everything we needed
Disliked: Lack of parking and tents still up from the recent Crime Writers event spoilt the lovely garden a bit but appreciate this is a big event for the hotel and we were told in advance and given a parking disc for local street

Good location but otherwise disappointing

Liked: Close to central Harrogate and could walk into town. Good value parking.
Disliked: Breakfast was horrible. They ran out of bacon and wouldn’t put out more as we were too close to the end of service (several others asked). Other items were not nice. Limited selection. Service not great - lady in charge of breakfast was unfriendly. Rooms pretty small. Bathroom was tiny. Small double bed. Extras v high for dog and extra bed.
