Overall the stay was okay.

Liked: Check in was quick and easy, my room wasn't ready but that was okay I had arrived early and I was able to leave my suitcase at the hotel until I could check in at the correct time.
Disliked: On the first day the waitress was wandering around for ages with my breakfast in her hand, she didn't seem to know where she was bringing it although I said twice I think that's mine she still wandered off. When she did eventually give me my breakfast the order was wrong I had ordered tomatoes which weren't on my plate, I asked her to get the tomatoes for me, instead of leaving the breakfast for me and going to fetch tomatoes she took the whole plate away, by the time I actually got my breakfast to eat it was cold. One of her colleagues apologised and said she's new. I received no apology form my waitress. Breakfast on the second day was a buffet breakfast and was okay.

Okay for one night stay...

Liked: Good location walking distance to shops bars restaurants etc.
Disliked: Old dated room,double bed too small

Liked: Excellent room, very impressive hotel, plenty of parking space, friendly staff
Disliked: Wasn’t too impressed with the food. Self serve breakfast was a little cold each morning, and having to eat meals in the bar because we have a dog was inconvenient £10 per night for car parking seems unnecessary

Liked: Excellent hotel. Staff helpful and friendly. Bedroom was roomy and warm. Lovely library to catch up with the news.

Disappointing

Liked: Lovely looking hotel and reputation
Disliked: Room was ridiculously cold, no view at all! broken glass in window, such a massive gap in the sash window blowing wind easily from 10pm until 4am. Once the wind had died down a massive engine room or kitchen fired up at around 5am that sounded like working on a motor cross track! Such a disappointment I thought it would have been luxury and a sound night’s sleep.

Couldn't have asked for anything...

Liked: The whole experience was excellent we couldn't find anything wrong with this venue. The breakfast set us up for the day. Absolutely fantastic.
Disliked: Nothing to improve on. Excellent
