Disliked: Room smelled of wet dog- had to ask to be moved. New room was much better.Check in took a long time.

Exceptional

Liked: Lovely old hotel in a great location. Very clean public areas and the staff very welcoming. Bedroom was an executive double which was a good size and warm. Comfy bed and included an iron and ironing board which is always a bonus. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice both hot and cold. Good hotel and excellent value for money.
Disliked: Nothing, perfect for our stay.

Very pleasant, good location and...

Liked: Lovely breakfast with lots of choice and good service from the staff in the breakfast room . There was a nice sitting room downstairs in a library style which was lovely.Comfortable room with plenty space with a bath and a shower and the towels were big and fluffy (I i like a towel I can wrap around me!)
Disliked: It was a bit chilly in the room on arrival but there was a plug in heater to help warm the room up. The radiator in the bathroom didn't seem to warm up though.

Liked: Brilliant location. Lovely hotel, grounds and breakfast. Would definitely return.
Disliked: Parking charge.

Liked: I received feedback from the lads that stayed there for work. They were really happy.
Disliked: I'm sure they mentioned paying for parking !
