Very unique building! Quiet. Good location. Overall, a good experience and would definitely return.
Liked: Friendly and helpful front desk staff; location; free parking!
Disliked: Upkeep needed - pool and atrium have a lot of potential.

I didn’t bring a dog...

This is the first negative...
Liked: I strongly urge you to avoid this hotel.Our entire trip was negatively impacted by our experience here — despite having fully paid in advance through Booking.com, we were refused check-in upon arrival.The hotel required a $350 CAD security deposit to be paid on-site. We had two physical credit cards available, both of which worked perfectly elsewhere in Canada and had more than enough credit, but their card machine repeatedly failed to process them. It was clearly an issue with their terminal, not our cards.We remained calm and polite throughout, and offered multiple alternative solutions — Apple Pay, a bank transfer, even over a hundred dollars in Canadian cash to cover part of the deposit. All were refused.We made every effort to cooperate and showed understanding of hotel policy and the challenges of front-line work. We even apologized for the inconvenience.In return, we were met with a completely unhelpful and unprofessional attitude from the front desk staff — especially the man who claimed to be the manager. He was cold, dismissive, and made no attempt to resolve the situation.We spent over an hour at the front desk trying to work things out — not because we weren’t willing to pay, but because the hotel refused to accept any working method of payment we offered.In the end, we were left without a room, despite having fully paid for it in advance. That’s completely unacceptable and deeply disappointing.If you’re considering booking this hotel, please think twice.You may arrive to find yourself unable to check in — and be treated with complete disregard when asking for help.This is not just poor service — this is a serious risk to your travel plans.Protect your time, your peace of mind, and your trip. Book somewhere else.
Disliked: Avoid this place at all costs.The front desk staff was rude, dismissive, and clearly showed racial discrimination.We were denied check-in despite full payment and valid cards — with no help, no solution, just attitude.If you value your vacation mood, don’t come here.The hotel looks decent, but the service will ruin your Niagara Falls trip.

Very good
Liked: Close but not TOO close to the attractions. Clean and comfortable, great restaurant.
Disliked: Older, although they’ve kept it up.

Would book again!
Liked: Would highly recommend booking this on your next trip to Niagara Falls. The hotel staff were amazing and friendly. The accommodations were clean. The bed was comfy. If you like overly fluffy pillows, it is the place for you! Only one complaint was the parking was $35 a day when the parking lot across the road was $20.

I’m not sure I’d return...
Liked: The breakfast at the hotel was delicious, it was a quality treat, although a bit pricey.The staff were all very friendly and warm.
Disliked: I was travelling alone, and had a room that had a window looking on the pool instead of outside. Unfortunately for me there were a lot of young girls there for a Cheer competition enjoying this pool. That’s good for them having fun but not good for me when I’m looking for peace after a long day. — those girls can SCREAM. ! Next time I’ll request a room away from the pool! Also the room was too humid, and hot. I had trouble changing the temperature. I should’ve called someone but I just wanted to be left alone. Also, the tv was really fuzzy. Not that I watched it much but it would’ve been nice to view the news.
