Liked: We liked that it was right next to the tube and also the venue we were attending.
Disliked: We weren't shown to our room... although no-one was outwardly rude, the staff were pleasant enough, it was just a bit blasé. Place could use a bit of tlc, but apart from that it was good for a one- stop.

Liked: Absolutely wonderful, helpful and friendly staff. Great bar. We didn't eat here but the food looked good. Very nice room and very clean/tidy. The room facilities were great - tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, water, etc - some decent (and much more expensive) hotels have stopped doing these so it was really appreciated. There's no breakfast option but there are lots of places within a few yards. It's a lovely pub and we'd stay here again.
Disliked: Very creaky floorboards! We felt sorry for anyone beneath us. The bed was just 4ft6" and far too small for us so we didn't sleep well at all. Another time we would book a better room. We were on the second floor and there's a very narrow, steep staircase. It didn't matter to us, just be aware it's an old building and there's no lift.
