An excellent find and well...

Liked: Fabulous location, superb restaurant.
Disliked: Rooms a little tired. Bathrooms not tired but modern. It was a shame that our little dog could not join us in the lounge or dining area.

Disliked: Attitude towards dogs, you said this was a dog friendly hotel however it should definitely not be classed as that, dogs are welcome as long as they stay in your car or room they definitely don’t allow them anywhere else

Excellent food

Liked: Food was excellent (we had dinner and breakfast at the hotel). We arrived after a day of hiking under the rain and they offered us tea and scones, which we enjoyed a lot. Room was spacious and very nice. The hotel is nicely decorated. The view from the dining room is also very nice.

Very good!

Liked: Hosts were very friendly and helpful. We were walking 'The Great Glen Walk', they picked us from Gairlochy Locks to the hotel. Later on they gave us a lift to our restaurant in Spean Bridge and also back to the hotel! The next day they gave us a lift back to the Gailochy Locks from where we continued our walk! Breakfast was excellent! I has the full Scottish and it was delicious!

A delightful stay, faboulous Hotel...

Liked: We had a fabulous stay at the Old Pines Hotel! It is beautifully decorated, with lovely rooms and very homely lounge and dining room. The hotel breakfast is truly excellent and their homemade bread is not to be missed! We also loved looking out at the beautiful views of Ben Nevis in the morning during our breakfast. We would also highly recommend their fabulous packed lunches which we enjoyed immensely on our second day walking the Great Glen Way! The hotel managers made our stay extra special, with Ken going above and beyond to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Thank you so much! We hope to be back soon.
