Lovely really-well positioned hotel with...

Liked: The room was spotless and felt luxurious, very nice Wildsmith bathroom products. Breakfast was delicious, the restaurant and terrace are extremely pretty and the staff were all lovely.
Disliked: I ordered the Sunday Times but instead got the Financial Times, with no offer to change it, just a refund. I also had huge difficulty getting my car out of the parking, since that front space next to the bicycles is really tight if another car pulls up next to you. Try to avoid it.

One of the best places...

Liked: Lovely room with terrace. Very attentive staff and warm welcome. Good location only a short stroll to the city centre. Great to have parking although some of the spaces are very tight. Cooked breakfast very good. Loved the library and outdoor seating. Overall very worthy of its five star rating.
Disliked: Great to have free parking but some spaces very tight. Perhaps finding out model of car beforehand and allocating accordingly possible? Continental breakfast options a bit limited. Would expect more than one choice of cereal and yoghurt. No fresh fruit salad. Good hanging space in wardrobe but lacking a decent sized drawer. Having to walk through dining room to the bedroom not to everyone's liking.

Liked: Really beautiful building. Great location for visiting Oxford. Only a 5 min walk to the centre. The finishes in the room were fantastic - underfloor heating, everything was quality and luxurious. It was fantastic. Super comfy bed.
Disliked: It was ideal having to walk through the restaurant every morning and evening to get to your room. It’s an old building so the layout is a little unusual, but there is a door at the end of the hotel corridor, so perhaps they could utilise that better?
