A wee hidden Gem

Liked: Excellent accommodation, friendly & very helpfull staff. Spotlessly clean & very comfortable bed.Food is excellent great atmosphere in bar area. This was our second visit & won't be our last.

The stay was pleasant enough....

Liked: Lovely village setting with a nice beer garden. Good bar and restaurant. The food was a lower standard than what we expected. We both had the roast beef and it was tough and dry. The lunch wasn’t value for money. However the breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Staff were excellent. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The room was fine. The bed was extremely uncomfortable to the extent I now have a sore back and shoulder. Pillows not good either.

Liked: Everything was lovely, especially the friendly kind staff. The only negative was the very poor evening meal in the restaurant despite the great sounding menu. Would eat elsewhere if we stayed again. Otherwise very very good
