Liked: Great place to stay for Dudden valley Wainwrights. Good food, beer and easy parking. Great butchers and bakers for walking snacks.

Liked: A very good location in an authentic lakeland village. The hotel room was first class with a great attention to detail. The owners have made sure that your comfort is paramount.
Disliked: I didn't like the fact that I had to leave.

Liked: A delightful traditional English Inn in a most delightful village, the perfect location for exploring The Lake District. Brenda, host and manager, was exceptional and went above and beyond expectations. Comfortable rooms, a roaring fire, a very good selection of food and drinks with a very generous breakfast.

Liked: Friendly welcome, very pleasant staff who are always happy to help. Food is exceptional, good choice of breakfast items including fully cooked. Sunday roasts are amazing.Room very clean, beds are lovely and comfortable, plenty of tea coffee etc. room very quiet considering it’s above a pub. Location is a lovely quiet village with easy access to Lake District.
Disliked: Nothing needed for improvement
