Healing and peaceful retreat in...

Liked: This place is so incredibly special, you can feel its history and care with which its been maintained as a true retreat, more than just a hotel. Loved the quail, rabbits, woodpeckers, chipmunks and squirrels. Excellent breakfast and enjoyed my deep bath soak in the pristine Belle Vista room. Will absolutely be back!
Disliked: Only issue was the memory foam mattress being too soft, as others have said. Was fine for me but I could see it being a problem for sensitive backs and sleepers. There are blackout curtains in the room which did help me have a restful night, regardless.

Liked: Breakfast was simple but nice. Gorgeous location. Beautiful views from our room of the "pink moment" in Ojai.
Disliked: No real bathroom amenities (something you'd like for $500/ night). Not a great shower, especially if you're tall. Lost a key and was treated like a child by the night person on call.

Disliked: Room could use a little refresh.
